Read SuperDawg together: stay on the bridge
A cape, a storm and a friend on a bridge. SuperDawg and the Crescent Bond brings adventure into a moment of uncertainty. This companion gives you a place to pause and wonder together. You can explore one question, come back later or simply enjoy the story.

The scene
SuperDawg's bark clears the mist from a wooden bridge. A hedgehog is still curled into a ball. The way ahead is visible; the hedgehog remains afraid. Later, a memory of SweetPea offering him a cushion helps SuperDawg consider another way to help.
Questions
-
01
The mist is gone. What does SuperDawg notice that his bark has not changed?
-
02
SweetPea moves the cushion and waits. What could the dog choose to do next?
-
03
If you drew one more panel on the bridge, where would you put SuperDawg and the hedgehog, and why?

Optional activity
Draw one more panel. It can show what happens next, something a character notices or a different possibility. Invite your reader to explain, point or leave the drawing to speak for itself.
For the adult reading
Ask one question at a time. Give it a little space. Welcome different interpretations and let the child choose whether to speak, point, draw, listen or pass. These are optional literary discussion prompts, not a test. The activity is not needed to enjoy the book.
